After the big marathon I scheduled some very important R&R! Dan, my friend from Minnesota, came into town Thursday night. Early Friday morning we headed off to the Wildlife World Zoo(http://www.wildlifeworld.com/) to check out the white alligator but ultimatley I found myslef in love with the giraffes. On Saturday we enjoyed breakfast with the parents and a nice hike on Squaw Peak (aka Piestewa Peak). The weekend was better than I could have planned but as usual with R&R, it never seems long enough!
